Speedway officials may check any part of any car, at any time, without paying a protest fee.  A driver may protest any car that finishes the race in front of him . A list of items that will be checked is available at the Speedway . Protest fee will be $200 . There is a $50 track fee. Protest time: 10 minutes following display of checkered flag.

Any American made 1968 through 2015 models, with a minimum  101″  wheelbase.

Minimum  total  weight  3400  #  with  driver,  before  &  after  race.  Minimum .Left  side  weight,  before & after race, with driver 52%. You may gas up after the race maximum 8 gal.  All drivers must be 14 years of age or older, and have a Speedway license.

ENGINES

Must be OEM stock, for make and model in stock location , left  to  right , front  to  rear..

Hydraulic cam only; After market  max lift at valve .425  intake  and  exhaust.

C.I.  CHEVROLET 350 C.I – FORD  351 C.I. – CHRYSLER 360 C.I. OEM  stock  engine. Over bore .040 Maximum.  ENGINE MAY BE CHECKED WITH P&G C.I. GAGE TO CHECK C.I.  — ALL ENGINES MAX. CRANKING  COMPRESSION 185 # 

OEM  stock or OEM replacement parts  for Car and engine .  Including  cylinder  heads, pistons, crankshaft, &  rods.

Stock  OEM  fuel pumps.

O E M Steel water pump, crankshaft, and pulley combination must be used.

CYLINDER HEADS NO HI PERFORMANCE

Heads must be stock for  make of engine,   No grinding, polishing, port matching, glass beading.  Standard  OEM  3 angle valve job.

No cutting head for larger valve springs. Stock OEM valve spring retainers.

Steel Polly locks permitted . OEM stock ratio rocker arms.

Studs in head may be screw in OEM stubs and guide plates.

COMPRESION

All engines maximum 185 # cranking compression.

INTAKE

No modifications allowed!  No grinding, polishing, port matching, glass beading..                                                                                                         OEM cast  iron or Edelbrock Performer G M 2101 – FORD 2181 – CHRYSLER 2176  required  on all Engines

EXHAUST

 Headers or cast iron exhaust manifolds , Single exhaust pipe for each side of engine. No merge or cross over exhaust , must run past driver    

CARBURETOR  

OEM  STOCK , NO AFTER MARKET MODIFICATIONS ! two  barrel Holley 350  -7448 carburetor   No modifications,  standard boosters required. A Maximum  1” thick Aluminum spacer with 1 or 2 holes centered in spacer, straight cut,  Two gaskets maximum .065 thick.  A RESTRICTOR PLATE  MAY BE REQUIRED TO EQUALIZE COMPETITION

                                          AIR  CLEANER  AND  AIR  FILTER

Only approved round air cleaner.  An approved complete dry element – minimum 1 ½ “ – maximum 4 inches high, must be used in the air cleaner at all times.  All air shall be filtered through element. Top of air cleaner must be solid, no holes. No cold air boxes or cowl induction.  No ducts or baffles on or leading to air cleaner, element or carburetor.

                                                IGNITION

Only O E M electronic ignition required on all models (OEM factory only  no  boosters )

No racing coils permitted such as Accell, MSD, etc.

Distributor cannot be modified in any way.

                                               FLY  WHEEL  &  CLUTCH  ASSEMBLY

OEM Stock fly wheel  &  clutch   No grinding  or  lightning  or  machining  allowed. Min. wt. 35 # .                       

                                                                  TRANSMISSIONS

Automatic or Standard Cast iron 3 or 4 speed  transmissions. All gears must work.

                                                                       R EAR  ENDS

May be interchanged between manufacturer: i.e. Ford   9″in Chevrolet, Chevrolet in Ford. May be Spool or welded.. No  ratchets, OR Limited Slip ;     Rear end hook up must be O E M stock .

SPRINGS

All cars must compete with type of springs from OEM.  If coil ,must be coil. If  leaf, it must be leaf.

Adjustable rear spring hangers and coil spring spacers ( non adjustable )  allowed. After market springs allowed. NO screw jacks.

  SHOCKS

O E M Steel stock  shocks required. Must mount in original location.

 FRAME RAILS

No shortening or altering in any way.

No tubing frame connectors allowed.

                      “A” FRAMES UPPER AND LOWER

OEM Stock    “A” frames for make and model of car.

SWAY  BAR

OEM & must be mounted in original position .May be adlustable on one end.

WHEELS

Maximum width eight  inches ( 8″)  R.R.- L.R. – L.F. –  Right Front 10″ All wheels same offset

TIRES

Tires   225 -70–15 -” Tread wear 400″ or  FMS  Scuff tires .

    FUEL

Pump gas or Speedway gas only. You may gas up after your race Maximum 8 gallons. No mixtures of and  kind.                        

                                                                        FUEL CELL

Fuel cell recommended.

All fuel tanks must be vented high and to the left side frame.

STARTER

OEM Starter

Only one 12v battery permitted.

RADIATOR

Any radiator allowed copper or aluminum

All cars must have a rubber overflow hose to the right rear corner of race car, angled toward ground.

BRAKES         

OEM brakes. No dual master cylinders. No remote brake adjusters allowed

After market clutch and brake pedals allowed.

                                                           BODIES

Stock appearing . OR Speedway approved Steel or Aluminum fabricated panels.  Ask – NO EXTENDED 1/4 ‘S .

Body must be in original position on frame.

Hood, doors, roof  may be hulled. No holes or louvers in hood or trunk.

Dash may be removed.

Fron and rear  inner panels may be removed.

All glass except windshield and flammable material must be removed.

Doors must be welded or bolted shut.

Must have grill. Expanded metal ok , Windsheild expanded metal ok

All body holes must be closed in, front and rear, with solid  metal and painted color of  car .

Rear view mirror permitted (inside car only

Minimum ground clearance 5“. frame and body.

SPOILERS

Lexan or aluminum or stock spoilers.  5″ high max. Width of deck lid -max. 60″ must be self supporting.

BUMPERS

After market Stock appearing  bumper covers allowed

Bracing is allowed behind bumper only.  Nothing above bumper, outside of grill.

Must have hook on front and rear of car to allow wrecker to lift car.

                                                                        ROLL BARS

Minimum three (3) point roll bar required.

Full roll cage recommended.  Bars may go through front and rear firewall.

All roll bars in driver area must have roll bar padding

                                                                        WHEEL BASE

Wheel base must be stock from factory, minimum  101″. Must be same length both sides .

TREAD WIDTH

Maximum tread width front and rear 66”, Checked with track gage

 

SAFETY EQUIPMENT

All cars must have seat belts.

All cars must have shoulder harness.

All  cars  must  have  Safety belts  fastened  to  seat  frame.

All  drivers  Must  wear  a  racing  helmet  anytime  you  are  on  the  race  track..

All  drivers  must  wear  a  fire  retardant  driving  uniform  or  long  sleeved  shirt  and  long                                               pants  when  driving  a  race  car.

Window net required.

                                                                       CAR  NUMBER.

All  cars  numbers  must  be  at  least  18″  high  on  each  side  of car

No  car  will  be  allowed  to  run  in  a  race  unless  numbers  are  on  each  door.
